Ross was raised in British Columbia, Canada and moved to Lynden, WA with his family as a teenager. Taya was born and raised in Lynden, WA. We met in high school, and were married shortly after Taya finished studies at Western Baptist College in 1999. We had been self-employed in the mini-storage industry for several years before realizing that God was calling us to serve as full-time missionaries with FamilyLife. We have been married for eight years, we were blessed with our first child, Isaiah David John, in April of 2005 and were thrilled to announce the arrival of Elijah Calvin Grant in September of 2008.
Although we've been based in Little Rock, AR, we work to bring hope and encouragement to marriages and families across the country and around the world.
We're currently in the process of joining the team of FamilyLife Australia. We hope to report to our new assignment in Melbourne, Australia in early February 2010. Our vision is to leverage all that we have to help people find "love that lasts." You can find out more about FamilyLife in Australia by visitingfamilylifeaustralia.com.

None of us have to look too far to see the effects of struggling marriages and families. The divorce statistics are staggering, millions of children are living as orphans in this world, and countless moms, dads, and children are crying out for hope. We believe that there is hope for these families. And we can see that God is at work- changing the world...one home at a time.
We believe it so strongly that we have chosen to spend our lives offering that hope to others. And we couldn't do it without a team of partners who enable us to serve as full-time missionaries to the family. If God has laid it on your heart to partner with us in reaching out to families in need you can click on this link to find out more: give.ccci.org/give/0571740
that went so fast! what a blessing he is and what a significant place he has in our hearts and our family...we love you very much elijah! happy 1st birthday! love, uncle erik, aunty cher, brielle, taya and demi xoxoxo
We're praying that our Immigration Sponsorship & Visas will be approved quickly so we can report to our new assignment in Melbourne, Australia.
Please pray that wherever we are, we will gladly share the good news of Jesus with people who haven't heard it, or didn't realize it's good news to them. Pray we would be quick to show love to those around us with our words & our actions.
For the boys (Isaiah and Elijah): we praise God these wonderful little boys. Pray that we will train them up in the way that they should go, and that we will savor the moments we have with them. A friend once told us "Enjoy it, because the days are long, but the years are short..." Each day with these boys is a gift.
